I think the title should be more of "Many won't admit to themselves...".

I have a much better self-image than I should, because when I look down, I can't see past my boobs and can't see past my shoulders when looking left or right, but looking in a mirror - my delusions are completely shattered! I know I'm overweight, I just don't know how overweight, so I'd have to agree with the headline.......
