They will probably sue anyway. I'm sure they will claim their right to protest was infringed upon by this incident.

I just wish they would leave military funerals out of this anti-gay BS. If they feel the need to protest they should be doing their marches in DC or at their own state capitol. Making families of fallen military personnel suffer is not going to help their cause or convert anyone to their point of view imo.

There wasn't enough money and attention for them in simply protesting funerals as gay. They had to expand ; )

Makes it easy to do the math tho:

Homo- Earthly all throughout nature

Phobia - Evil acts

They shouldn't be allowed to protest anyones funeral ever. How horrible for a family to have someone protest their dead loved one.

I don't get why this is legal in this particular capacity. It's cruel.

The legality is covered by freedom of speech. There have been some states to pass laws restricting how close they can be though there are questions if those laws meet constitutional standards.

One soldier's father sued them and won quite a bit but lost the appeal. That case is at the USSC currently.

I wish they would spend time in places that need their "services" ... perhaps North Korea or the DR Congo or Rhuwanda ... so much sin in those places, they would need to spend several generations just getting converts onto the righteous paths, or die trying :) ... they had better hurry before they lose anymore North Korean, ummm, err, lost souls, souls to satan ....

Where do I send a donation for his defense fund? That guy deserves a medal for his actions. Westboro Baptist Church is a menace. Mace was about the mildest thing anybody could think of to do, to get rid of them so this family can have peace while they bury their Marine.

I think it'd be fun to 'assault' them with purple Koolaid but it sounds like someone already did ; ) They are definitely under the influence of that.
